Your organization of the trip was very good. It all went to plan well. The hotel was good - friendly hosts, good room. We ate there each night and enjoyed the food and hospitality. I found the driving a little taxing. Australians are not used to such narrow roads. The courses were all in beautiful locations. We had a great sojourn in sunny Cornwall and all enjoyed the experience thoroughly. The golf courses were excellent. Perranporth is an exquisite natural links. Trevose was a fine test in a glorious location. Then on to St Enodoc. What a treat ! The hotel was absolutely fine and everyone enjoyed the breakfast setting and the friendliness of the staff. The golf courses were great, albeit a struggle with Perranporth with the amount of blind shots. Thank you very much for arranging our golf trip, it was a most enjoyable break. The golf courses were fantastic, offering some of the most stunning views anywhere and all were in excellent condition. Thank you for putting together our trip which ended yesterday. We were overall very impressed with Cornwall and the golf courses. St Mellion was fantastic but hard, Bowood was excellent and more playable, well worth going to again. St Enodoc blew us away and was voted best course we have ever played. The hotel was fine, the food there very good and the owners and staff could not have been friendlier. All in all excellent. Sixteen of us came for 4 days to Newquay for a 50th birthday. Trevose on Wednesday was superb, and Newquay on Thursday was very enjoyable. The accommodation you sorted for us was wonderful, 6 star. We went into Newquay at night for dinner and drinks. The weather was great so you got that right as well. I would not hesitate to come back and do similar at some time. The MUGS members enjoyed being at the Molesworth in the centre of Wadebridge. The breakfasts were hearty and the rooms fine. The looks on people’s faces when they arrived at St. Enodoc was for me fulfilment of my hopes. Genuine wonderment and appreciation of a superbly manicured area and set-up that just breathed excellence. People found the course tough but loved it. On the first day we had a bit of coastal mist but the sun on the second day revealed the blue sea and views in all their glory. Trevose on the last day was an excellent swan song. We had a fantastic time, the party thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the trip. The Carlyon Bay Hotel was an excellent location choice, and the staff and service were second to none. We liked the look of the Molesworth Arms straightaway, the rooms were a good standard and clean. We all thought the coach driver service was spot on and is something we will be having on future trips. All four courses were excellent, but St Enodoc stood out for all of us - it is up there with the best we have played and we have played the Old Course, Turnberry, Carnoustie etc. At every course we were treated in a friendly and welcoming way by the staff and members and even got complemented on how smart we looked in our society clothing!
