The Falcon is the oldest coaching house in North Cornwall and was once the headquarters for the four-horse coaches running between north coast towns.
Only ½ mile from Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club, it’s also a handy base for a tour playing Bowood Park, Launceston and Trethorne. Plus the classic links at Saunton and Royal North Devon are just a short drive up the A39 for a first or a last day round.
Travellers have been welcomed here for nearly two hundred years and that old-time warm, friendly atmosphere is apparent as soon as you walk through the front door.
Overlooking the Bude Canal and with its beautiful walled gardens, the hotel has one of the finest settings in Cornwall.
All bedrooms have a view of the gardens or the canal and have been refurbished to a very high standard. Each room has an en-suite, with clock radios, direct dial telephones, coffee and tea making facilities, guest controlled heating systems and remote control televisions with Sky Sports.
The Falcon Inn is integral with the hotel and the Coachman’s Bar with its warm and informal atmosphere is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The doors of the Falcon Inn lead out onto a floral beer terrace with wonderful views over the historic canal.
